You'd think I'd learn. Hard headed.
Anyway, my eyes are tired, but my brain is not and so here I am typing, typing, typing. Brace yourself...cause I have no idea where this post is headed.
The Wiggins are in the middle of lots of home projects right now. Oh, so fun. Actually today was liberating because I gave lots of stuff to charity. I really love doing that. I love getting rid of STUFF. We'll get rid of more tomorrow. I literally feel like my house can breath and it isn't suffocating from the stuff. Plus, someone else might find it useful.
We painted the big girls' room last weekend. Correction. Mark painted. I really hate painting. I'd rather do anything than paint a room. But I did put the room back together and sifted through some of their stuff and now their room looks much, much better. It's really pink. Really. Pink.
Ooh, I got pictures back from the photographer. Her name is Misty Green and she is AWESOME (the word awesome here is being sung in my head...in opera). Let's see if I can do a hyperlink: http://www.photographybymg.com/. There we go. Anyway, she took the most amazing pictures of Meagan...they are beautiful and artistic, captivating really. They made me cry. I finally have a picture of all three of my girls above the mantle and I'm so happy about that. I keep going in the living room and just looking at it. Meagan was about 4 months old in that picture. (I took forever to order it...who knows why?) And I got a big picture of Meagan by herself in a tutu for her bedroom. I love it. Plus lots of other pictures. Hobby Lobby had all their frames on sale for 50% off...BONUS! So, I left Misty's studio and got those suckers framed and up on the walls.
Meagan is full fledged walking. She's running and dancing too. She does ring around the rosies. She's learning so much. She experimenting with fit-throwing. I roll my eyes as I type this. I'm so not impressed with these fits.
Emma started ballet on Monday and she is very serious about it. Oh, yes...she is. She LOVES the mirror wall. She simply could not take her eyes off herself. She met two new friends and let me know her teacher, Miss Kristen, was "very patient" with her. I didn't know what to make of that, but I pressed and found out it means that she helped Emma more than she helped the others, since this is Emma's first experience with dance class.
Allison is doing well in school. And she and Emma both start soccer next week. Allison is so excited to start soccer. I do not know how we are going to handle two in soccer at the same time. Other people do it, so I know we will figure it out. But, it seems like we are starting lots of stuff at the same time and I'm afraid of becoming one of those families that is never home together; never eats dinner together, etc... That does not appeal to me right now. It'll be alright.
Alright, I think my brain is finally realizing it's tired too. Nighty night.
