Today in the car, Emma said, "Mama, I like my voice."
I said, "I like your voice, too."
And she said, as if to clarify, "I mean, I like the way I talk, like 'blah, blah, blah.'" And then her deep laugh.
"Yeah, baby, I like the way you talk too."
And then she just came right out with it: "And you know what? I think I'm very cute. Because one day I was looking in the mirror and I thought, hey, I am sooooo cute!!" After which she giggled.
And I said, "Yep, Emma, you are pretty darn cute!"

she was just expressing what SO MANY people have told her over the years! i loved it.. sounds exactly like our emma.
