Happy Day

Today I am having what I would call a happy day. It's so pretty outside. I spent most of the morning with my mom and we had a good time. We finished it off by eating lunch at Alicia's, which is a new Mexican restaurant not far from our house. And I love me some Mexican food, but this is excellent, put-you-in-a-good-mood Mexican food. The tortillas are super thin, which is my favorite. Meagan was such a good girl, despite being woken up from a mini-nap. She thanked the waiter multiple times every time he brought us anything. He said she was muy bonita. I like him.

I talked to Gina this afternoon about her second ultrasound and got to tell her that she may be able to find out what the baby is in only 6 weeks. She really liked this news and I was so happy to be able to be the one to tell her that. I have prayed and prayed for her to have a nausea-free pregnancy and the Lord has done it. She feels good and pregnant. What a wonderful combination of feelings!

I am excited to meet my new niece of nephew. I can't wait for the girls to have a cousin on my side of the family. I have lots of catch up/pay-back babysitting to do, which will be excellent because it will give me the opportunity to let him or her do things they aren't allowed to do at home AND to work on my house being a favorite place for him (or her) to visit. I would say I want to be the favorite aunt, but I feel bad saying that because Melanie is so sweet and I know she is going to be a sweet auntie too.

Well, I have lots to do around here; but for the sake of blogging more, I got on here and just wanted to say a few little things. My apologies for not having a lot of deep thoughts today! :) I hope I haven't bored you too much.
