Undo

Blogger does not have an undo button. Can I just say how irritating that is to me? Undo has saved my rear more times than I can count. I love undo. I type fast, but I make mistakes often and our Dell has secret little ways to perform "shortcuts" like erasing whole chunks of text. The beauty of the shortcuts is that I don't know the shortcuts, I just inadvertantly hit the correct two keys on accident in my typing frenzy and - poof - my text is gone, or moved somewhere else entirely. So, undo is the sloppy typist's friend. Except blogger (which I just called blooger and had to backspace over to fix, instead of simply being able to undo out of it) does not have undo.

This got me to thinking about the "easy" buttons on those commercials.

What if life had an "undo," complete with the arrow.

Took your eyes off the road for one second and rear ended someone? No problem! "Undo."

Cut your hair too short? "Undo."

Regret hitting the "send" button? "Undo."

Say too much? "Undo."

Didn't say enough? "Undo."

And one of the worst - wishing you'd shared the reason for the hope within you with someone who could use some hope? If only...undo.

Undo only exists on the computer, and blogger proves it isn't always on the computer! Undo would be great in life, I guess. Although we would most likely never learn from our mistakes because we'd have a way to just go behind ourselves and clean up our messes far too easily.

But I do wish blogger would give us bloggers the option of "undoing."
