I don't know what I'm doing!

Well, at the insistance of my sister in law, Gina (http://www.justourjourney.blogspot.com/) I am now blogging. Blogs are something I only recently discovered. I heard people talk about theirs but never really kept up with one until about 6 months ago. Now I keep up with several. And it is kind of fun. At these comments, I am sure some of you are remembering the line in Father Of The Bride where Franc the wedding coordinator snorts at George, "Well, welcome to the nineties, Mr. Banks!" I admit, I am not the most technologically advanced. I recently discovered my cell phone has a calendar and I can do something to make it ding to me and give me reminders! Wow! Only, I can't use that feature now because I washed it in the washing machine. I digress...

So, I am blogging because Gina said it's like journaling and since I do not journal OR scrapbook (that's correct...I admitted it. My kids will be the only ones who will not have 18 scrapbooks laid out at their high school graduation party) I thought maybe this would suffice for a while. I do love to write, so I think this will be fun for me...whether anyone ever looks at this thing or not. My kids will think it's awesome to see themselves on the computer!

About us...we have been married for 12 years and we have three beautiful daughters. These "little women" are our life. They inspire us, challenge us, and bring us more joy than we could have ever imagined. They are the single most amazing display of God's grace in our lives second to our relationships with Jesus Christ. We live to pour his Truth into their little hearts and yet it is often in their every day actions, huge faith and unabashed and completely unconditional love that we are taught truth. Little things they do, and the Holy Spirit whispers, "Yep, that's it. That's what ____ is" Fill in the blank - faith, love, peace, trust...you name it. Now, lest you get the wrong idea...my kids are normal. And I'm sure you'll find out in due time...I am too - mostly. We get impatient, they get cranky, and tomorrow's a new day.

So, why did I decide to blog TODAY? Well, Mark bought me a new camera I've been asking for for a long time just before our 3rd daughter was born. And I love to play with it. We take tons of pictures. (All you scrapbooker moms are asking - what do you do with them??? I have no answer.) I got a few of Meagan...our littlest woman and it made we want to blog. That simple. Even as I type this sentence, the thought going through my mind is, "Hello? I don't know what the heck I'm doing here. I'm just following the steps blogger.com tells me to do." So, I have no idea what this thing is going to turn out like!
