Just thinking this morning about things I love about my girls...
I love...
the way Emma will always choose to listen and sing along to "Babe in the Straw" by Caedman's Call on her ipod several times before listening to anything else because she thinks the song is so sweet and special. I can't sing that song with her without welling up. It's too much.
three girls in bed with me in the morning.
the way Meagan sat on her knees in bed with me this morning and wide-eyed told me "I so itsided about soo day mama! I so itsided!" (I'm so excited about zoo day, mama! I'm so excited!")
the way Allison asked if she could be my buddy in the front seat today, because she loves being my buddy.
my friend Jennifer's rule: If you beg, it's an automatic no. Begging has come to a complete hault in this house and I'm thinking Jennifer needs to write a book.
the way even though Allison is growing up, she still has lots of little girl in her.
the fact that I'm getting another year of matching Easter dresses for the girls with zero complaints.
the way Meagan sat at a table with my friends and me and happily played play-dough and animals and coloring while her sisters and their big girl friends skated at the skating rink Wednesday. She was such a sweet, good girl!
how Meagan loves people. She says "hello!" to everyone.
Emma's honesty and transparency about her feelings. She's an open book and I hope and pray she stays that way. I will never forget the way she cried her eyeballs out after seeing Toy Story 3 and summed it up with, "I am NEVER going to college! It's stupid! You have to leave your TOYS!"
the way "mommy" still rolls off Allison's tongue when she's addressing me, even though she's darn near as tall as me.
Spring Break with my girls.

and I love ...
the way Punkin dances and poses with a big bright smile just to entertain herself,
the way Sweet Pea likes to snuggle with me and listen to our songs (she is so snuggly),
the way Honey Bee says "Daddy's home!" and runs to me and hugs me by wrapping herself around my leg,
and the way all three of my little girls love their daddy (even after a good stern reprimand),
I hope they know I love them too (and I'm pretty sure they do).
