You betcha!

I've been trying to teach Meagan the difference between the American flag and the Texas flag lately. So, when we pass a flag, I'll say, "Meagan, which one is that one?" She almost always gets them confused, but we're working on it.

So, today when we were at a red light, she noticed two flags at the bank - one American and one Texas. So, she says,

"Mama, wook! Wook at the flag! It has one star!"

"That's right, Meagan. Which flag has only one star?" I replied.

"Ummmmmm.....ummmmm...." says Meagan.

"Remember, Texas has one star and the American flag has MANY stars." I reminded her.

"Youuuuuu betcha, mama," says Meagan.

I never say "you betcha." I don't know where she got that. But do ya think I thought it was darn cute?
